Acrylic Nails & Gel Fill Nails

At Pretty Nail Spa, we get a lot of questions about the different types of nails. Our clients from Commerce City, CO, Hudson, Thornton and elsewhere often ask us about the difference between acrylic nails and gel fill nails. We are always happy to answer such questions from our clients. Our goal is to always give you the very best service. We appreciate the fact that you have made the choice to spend part of your day with us. It is our privilege to have you here. Our friendly, welcoming staff never minds answering your questions. We actually enjoy educating our clients on the different techniques, so that they are able to make a more informed decision regarding what they want. When you understand the processes, it's easier to make sure that you get exactly what you want.

Acrylic nails are hard, sturdy and long lasting. When you no longer want them, they can be soaked off with acetone, which is something that some clients like, because they may not want to take them off at home. Gel fill nails are also sturdy and long lasting. However, this type of nails cannot be soaked off. They must be filed off. Acrylics can be a liquid or powder, while gel is always gel.  In most cases, acrylics cost a bit less than their gel counterparts. Feel free to discuss the differences further with your nail technician.
